Science Around Us (4)

Our friend may not know how to calculate the amount of pressure required to force the dart out of the blowpipe. However, he can precisely send a fly dart into the air. He may not be able to explain the law of gravity but intuitively, he knows that in order to get the target, he has to aim higher than the actual location of the target.

Our students may learn the formula for calculating the air pressure. They may know how to define the law of gravity and show the the mathematical formula involved. However, they may not be able to connect those formula to the real life situations. Let us help our students to connect scientific concepts and theories to daily situations. So the key word is --- connection.
